In the early 1900s, when the Wright brothers were tired of answering questions about the workings of their airplane, they replied, “The airplane stays up because it doesn’t have the time to fall.” Travelers today are much more sophisticated in their knowledge of planes, and planes themselves are more complex. In the past 20 years, travel has rapidly become an even larger part of our lives. My first son took 6 airplane trips by the time he was 18 months old. I took my first flight when I was 14. Times have changed and we have all become frequent travelers.
There are many questions that need answers when traveling in modern times, especially with children. I have created this blog to satisfy my need for information, and to share what I find with others. Research was a large part of my previous career, and it’s something I enjoy. I will give you the best answers and most useful information about traveling as a family. If you have a subject you would like researched, please feel free to contact me with your idea. If you have tips on a subject in a post, please add your comments.
All of my posts are unbiased. I do not sell airline tickets. However, I will put advertising on my site, to try to offset my costs, but will at no time change my posts due to an advertiser’s presence.
If you like what you see, help me spread the word by clicking on the “Share This” link at the end of my posts to submit my posts to such sites as del.icio.us, Digg and Technorati.
Thanks,
Bethany B.
